Harvey Dickson's Country Music Centre

Boyup Brook is well known for many things but Harvey Dickson’s has to be one of the largest. Situated approximately 5km out of town on the Arthur River Road, Harvey Dickson has set up his centre out in a shed hanging pretty much anything he possibly could from the roof from a carriage, old vacuum cleaners, boots to road signs and hundred of vinyl records. With a stage and bar Harvey's annual shows are a must see attraction. He also has sand sculptures created by local artist Sandy Chambers of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. From the age of 14 Harvey Dickson has collected Elvis Presley memorabilia and has kept all of these in a room called the 'Record Room'. There is also the Rodeo Centre where Harvey hosts the Harvey Dickson's Rodeo annually in October. This is where the famous 10 metre tall wooden guitar men stand. Harvey Dickson's can only be truly appreciated by witness.
