Boyup Brook has so much to offer, through nature including the beautiful wild flowers which grow in the shire as well as the colourful history for example the Chowerup Mill,  cemetery and school to the old Jayes hall and homestead and main attractions such as Harvey Dickson's Country Music Centre. With so much to discover why not jump in your car, experience the nature and witness some of the most gorgeous sights within the South West.

Tour 1

Take the Kojonup Road from Boyup Brook to Mayanup and then onto Cranbrook Road. You can deviate from this road and explore Perup Flora and Fauna Reserve but a good map is needed.

Follow the Cranbrook Road to the Tone Bridge to a lovely picnic spot on the Tone River. About 1km further on is the Tone Bridge Golf Course wher you can have a game anytime.  Returning to Boyup Brook, turn right into Tone River Road. When the road forks go left into Pretty Gully Road.  Continuing along this road Chowerup School is on your right, then Chowerup Cemetery on your left.  When you reach Westbourne Road you will see the Chowerup Hall built in 1924.  Turn left and after about 1km turn right into Scott’s Brook Road which will take you back to Mayanup. On this road is “Norlup” where the original homestead, built in 1874 has been beautifully restored by the present owners.

Round trip is approximately 150km without any deviations.

Tour 2

Travel south out of Boyup Brook on the Kojonup Road and after 3km turn left into Asplin Siding Road. When you reach the bitumen road you will be heading towards Dinninup, but first turn left and have a look at Asplin Bridge. Proceed to Dinninup and the see the old hall built in 1907 and the Showgrounds. The district show is held here in November each year. Turn left into Arthur River Road and travel north to Trigwell's Bridge.  Take the next road to the left to Haddleton, the home of Mr & Mrs Trigwell. They will show visitors through the nearby Flora and Fauna Reserve. It is an excellent place for a picnic and has many outstanding wildflowers in season.  Please telephone first to arrange a visit (08) 9767 2022. To return to Boyup Brook, turn left onto the Darkan Road (Gibbs Road).  Just past the Condinup Crossing Road is the Gregory Tree. After 4kms turn right into Boyup Brook Arthur River Road. Harvey Dickson's Country Music Centre is on you left. Visits by arrangement.  Telephone (08) 9765 1125 and then it is only 5km to town.

Tour 3

From Boyup Brook travel on Terry Road to Jayes Crossing where you will join the Kojonup Bridgetown Road and Jayes Bridge will be on your left.  It is a delightful Spot for a picnic, canoeing or swimming.  The Memorial hero marks the site of the Old Jayes Hall, the first public building in the district and the original meeting place for the Upper Blackwood Roads Board.  Proceed west on Jayes Road passing the original Jayes Homestead and come to Lodge Road on your left. Take this road to visit Glacier Hill.  Continue along Jayes Road until you reach Flax Road on your left.  Proceed down Flax Road to intersect Winnejup Road (bitumen) turn left, cross the Winnejup Bridge and continue until you reach the Cranbrook Road intersection.  Turn left and after about 3km go past the Mayanup Sports Ground and Hall, then left into Boyup Brook Kojonup Road and after a short distance turn right and take the bitumen road back to Boyup Brook. 

Round trip is approximately 71km.

Tour 4

Alternate route to Bridgetown

From Boyup Brook travel on Terry Road to Jayes Crossing where you will join the Kojonup Bridgetown Road and Jayes Bridge will be on your left.  It is a delightful spot of the Old Jayes Hall, the first public building in the district and the original meeting place for the Upper Blackwood Road Board.  Proceed west on the Bridgetown Road passing the original Jayes Homestead and come to Lodge Road on your left.  Take this turn if you wish to visit Glacial Hill.  A little further west is Flax Road to your left.  Follow this until you meet the Winnejup Road (bitumen) turn left, cross the Winnejup Bridge over the river, then take the first turn right and you will be on Hamilton Road.  Travel along this road for 2.6km before turning right into Wheatley Waters Road which will take you to Sunnyside a beautiful drive alongside the river through scenic farmland.  This road will take you to Bridgetown and its only 29km back to Boyup Brook on the main Bridgetown Boyup Brook Road

Round trip 85km, not including Glacier Hill.
